This two-day field trip explores, from a clairvoyant level, several
well known sites of stone in the SE Flor ida
area. We are restructuring this event into a weekend trip. More
sites may be added as time permits. Highlights from previous trips
are described below:
We experience the energies of Saint Bernard of Clairvaux (no pun
intended), of the Cistercian order, and the monastery named in his
honor built 350 years before Columbus arrived. How did it get to
Miami? The puzzle unfolds as we visit the monastery on this part
of our adventure. St. Bernard was an early collaborator with the
Knights Templar. Find out more about this group, their purpose,
and his involvement.
We
entrench ourselves in the mysteries of the Coral Castle. How did
a 100 pound man and standing just over 5 feet tall build this castle
all by himself with no machinery and no crew to help? The Giant
Obelisk alone weighs 28.5 tons! The Coral Castle is considered one
of the most remarkable achievements of modern times. The telescope
stands 25 feet
high and weighs 20 tons. Ed Leedskalnin, architect and builder of
the castle, used it to plot the earth's path around the sun and
enabled him to design and construct the accurate sundial. The nine
ton gate balances so finely tuned the stone can be turned by a child
and each part fits within a ¼ inch of the surrounding walls.
No one knows for sure how it was done! We uncover the mystery.
During our adventure, as permitted, we also visit a strange circle
formation discovered at the mouth of the Miami River. Archeologists
have discovered a perfect circle measuring 38 feet in diameter,
with 24 irregular cut basins, ranging in size from one to three
feet. Some experts believe the basins depict the images of sea turtles,
dolphins, sharks, manatees, shrimp and other marine animals. Could
it be that the time-obsessed Maya or maybe a much older culture
carved this astronomical observatory for future memory or to remind
us what was sacred to our ancient people? Centuries or millennia
after its creation, the formation still seems sacred because of
its apparent function as a temple or astronomical device. The structure
has 41 potholes on each side of the circle's center along the east-west
axis. It measures the precise outlines of the autumnal equinox (the
time when the sun crosses the equator, making night and day equal
in duration) and the summer and winter solstices (the northern and
southern extremes of the sun's seasonal travel through the sky).
Date TBD: Participants meet in Ft. Lauderdale (unless coming
from the South) for a brief meeting and meditation. Then carpool
to the sites in this field trip. Short meditations are held at each
site, reclaiming past life energies and information. As you may
have expereinced, group agreements can create miracles! Students,
friends, and interested persons are welcome to take part in this
event!
We are taking sign ups now! Sign up and reserve your space.
